Sofiane Pamart

The self-proclaimed “French Piano King”, who won a gold medal at the Lille National Conservatory, first established himself as the leading pianist in French rap. After his collabs with Vald, SCH, Laylow and Scylla, he is launching his solo career in 2019 with the album Planet, in which he mixes classical, rap, jazz and oriental sounds in twelve stages from Chicago to Cairo. The pianist in the kimono soon generated a huge popular following for his instrumental music, a real feat in a voice-dominated industry. In 2022, he became the first solo pianist to play to a full house at the Accor Arena in Paris. Two years after his remarkable appearance on the Montreux lake stage – he took the opportunity to shoot a video clip produced by the Festival’s teams – Sofiane Pamart is back for an anthological evening of piano. With Chilly Gonzales also on the bill, the Stravinsky Auditorium welcomes two virtuosos who share a certain taste for the offbeat.
