Naïka
A radiant fusion of R&B, pop and Afro-Caribbean sounds, Naïka’s music reflects the many cultures that shaped her upbringing. Born in the United States with Franco-Haitian roots, she flows naturally between lyrics in English, French and Creole — a playful linguistic twist she deploys with flair, as heard on the hit “One Track Mind”, whose final verse in Creole went viral on social media. After charming audiences at the Montreux Jazz Festival Spotlight Sessions in Villars last winter, Naïka arrives in Montreux to present her debut album, Eclesia, released earlier this year. Thirteen vibrant tracks reveal the depth of her artistry, honed at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and herald the arrival of a truly promising star.
