Moonpools is back with their second EP “Damaged Goods”. The Basel-based band, influenced by artists like Hatchie and Snail Mail, is moving more and more towards soft rock and dream pop.
Unlike their debut EP “Turbulent Times” (2019), this new EP has a clear recurring theme: concise arrangements, anthemic synth lines and driving guitars. Marcie, whose honest lyrics often fall somewhere between melodramatic and kitschy, sings about unrequited and unexpected love, the loss of unrequited and unexpected love, loss of control, and apathy. The sound of Moonpools immerses the listener into a world of diverse emotions.
