The return of the legendary guitarist had been awaited in Montreux for 13 years! Twice inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, ex-member of the Yardbirds and collaborator of the greatest (Mick Jagger, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Kate Bush…), Jeff Beck is joined this time by Johnny Depp. The American actor and rocker adds a prestigious line to his already well-filled musician’s resume, after his memorable concert at the Festival in 2018 as part of the supergroup Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Joe Perry…). Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp had already collaborated in April 2020 for an electrifying cover of John Lennon’s song “Isolation”. We found Depp as an inspired singer and Beck as an undisputed master of the guitar, gracing us with a mind-boggling solo. The collaboration will not end there: the two artists are preparing a studio album together. Coincidentally, the release date is scheduled for the same day as their concert in Montreux!
