In 2018, Zucchero set the Stravinsky Auditorium alight with a dozen musicians at his side. This summer, the man behind “Senza Una Donna” promises the same fervour in condensed form, accompanied by two musicians in a setting as intimate as it is unusual. On the programme is a tailor-made performance, focused on the essentials: the raw power of his songs, his inimitable voice and a constant intensity. At 65 years of age, with 60 million albums sold, and major collaborations with John Lee Hooker, Sting and Bono, Zucchero is undoubtedly one of the elite performers in the world of blues-rock. This will be his 4th appearance at the Festival, where he performed a memorable duet with Solomon Burke in 2004.
