Ghana-born, London-raised and now Berlin-based, Yazzus is a DJ/producer known for her high-energy, groove-laced electronic music and signature ‘bitchy techno’ style. Drawing from 90s and 2000s rave culture with an afrofuturist twist, her sets combine sexiness, attitude and cosmic energy. Since moving to Berlin, she’s joined the queer collective Mala Junta and launched the all-Black event series ‘Black Metropolis’ at Tresor. Her releases span labels like Good Enuff, Steel City Dance Discs, and Tresor Records, with remixes for Aluna, Kelly Lee Owens, Baltra and GLOR1A. A DJ Mag nominee in 2020, Yazzus has played standout sets at Fold, Bassiani, Dekmantel, Horst and more.
