Timid Boy
A leading figure in the French electronic music scene, Damien is a force of nature: DJ, producer of the Timid Boy and Damien Almira projects, organizer, and head of the labels Time Has Changed, TBM, and Almira Records. Immersed in music since childhood, Damien studied piano at the conservatory for ten years. He fell in love with electronic music in the ’90s and began DJing in clubs around his hometown of Montpellier.
After moving to Paris to study journalism, he became Editor-in-Chief of Trax Magazine and developed his DJ career under the alias Timid Boy. He successfully founded Time Has Changed, a flagship of the house revival (Oxia, Barem, Mihai Popoviciu, Dennis
Cruz, Matthias Meyer…).
