The Teskey Brothers is the story of two brothers from a farming family in rural Melbourne. Since childhood, they have been listening to American soul and R’n’B artists like Peter Green, Otis Redding and Ray Charles. They started out playing in the street, at local parties and in pubs. Josh handles the rhythm guitar parts and vocals, drawing his audience into oceans of emotion, while his brother Sam’s languid solos make even the toughest blush. The Teskey brothers quickly exported themselves across the Pacific with their fiery interpretation of soul music, as relentless on record as on stage.
