As part of his “My Songs” tour, the 17-time Grammy Award winner Sting will perform the most beloved pieces written throughout his prolific career. With accompaniment from a rock and electric ensemble, the musician promises a rollicking, dynamic show, revisiting both songs he wrote solo and with The Police. Sting at the Montreux Jazz Festival is always a special event, given their shared vision of open music without defined genres. As he puts it: “In Montreux, I feel a kinship with the greater community of musicians. My music is carefully arranged, but there is still enough of the jazzman in me to allow me to improvise”. Sting never stopped reinventing himself, and this year won his 17th Grammy Award for a reggae collaboration with Jamaican artist Shaggy. On May 24th, his album "My Songs" will be released, featuring his most popular songs, reconstructed and refitted with a contemporary focus.
