In 2016, he declared: “In Montreux, I feel a kinship with the greater community of musicians. My music is carefully arranged, but there is still enough of the jazzman in me to allow for improvisation”. Sting has never stopped reinventing himself and received his 17th Grammy Award for a reggae collaboration with Jamaican icon Shaggy. In 2021, he released his 15th album, The Bridge, combining pop, rock and a touch of jazz.
