Saint Levant

Saint Levant (born Marwan Abdelhamid) is a Palestinian, French, Algerian and Serbian artist. Born in Jerusalem and raised in Gaza, Saint Levant fuses English, French and Arabic to bring a unique take on modern pop music. His effortlessly seductive trilingual wordplay has made him a worldwide favorite. Inspired by influential Arab thinkers of past generations and contemporary artists, Saint Levant’s music is nostalgic for the R&B/hip-hop of the early 2000s, but intensely forward-looking, transcending the boundaries of the genre. With his complex worldview, Saint Levant recently launched the 2048 Fellowship, which provides a living for young Palestinian creators each year, as well as his 2048 label, which allows him to remain an independent artist. The hit song “Very Few Friends” has garnered international attention that is impossible to ignore, with a steady release of new music in anticipation of his first solo EP, “From Gaza With Love,” released on March 6, 2023.
