Ngoc Lan
Through her sets, Ngoc Lan weaves carefully chosen sonic narratives, between classic and discovery. For two decades, the Swiss DJ of Vietnamese origin has been charting a singular trajectory, between cultures and continents, clubs and festivals, introspection and raw energy. Since then, Ngoc Lan has had a string of live experiences, from intimate clubs like Kasheme to festivals like Montreux Jazz, the Worldwide Festival in Leysin and the Cully Jazz Festival. Her mixes have also taken her as far as the Henz Club in Seoul, and on reference platforms such as Boiler Room, Kiosk Radio and My Analog Journal, where she shares her eclectic and personal selections. At the crossroads of crate digging, she is also called upon by artists such as Illa J, Yarah Bravo, Tommy Genesis and Grems to provide DJ support for their live performances. Between 2017 and 2020, she produced Astrolab on RTS Couleur 3, a programme dedicated to electronic music, jazz and hip hop, in search of rare and innovative sounds. Twenty years after her debut, Ngoc Lan continues to pursue her path with the same passion for music and sound exploration.
