Nesta
Beirut-born, Nesta has spent over a decade shaping the Middle East’s underground music scene. Early on, he was deeply influenced by hip hop, psychedelic rock, metal, and jazz — a mix that still echoes in his approach today, particularly in his sense of rhythm, improvisation, and flow. His sound resists category, moving fluidly between house and a more musical, open-minded, wide-ranging and subtly sensual spectrum of sounds, while his long-form performances have become a signature — extended sets that reward patience and reveal their shape slowly.
His productions carry the same ethos: a steady catalogue of EPs, white labels, and edits, with plenty still in the pipeline. While previously based in London, Nesta founded Fantôme de Nuit — a label and party brand that has since become a platform for championing regional talent and curating gatherings in alternative spaces across the world.
