Luis, of Cape Verdean origin, and Jessica, of Portuguese origin, are a duo of Kizomba and Semba teachers based in Switzerland. In 2023, Luis made a name for himself at an international Kizomba and Semba competition, where he brilliantly came second. It was also that year that his path crossed that of Jessica, with whom he quickly forged a strong artistic connection. Together, they decided to join forces as dance partners, sharing the same passion and a common vision of transmitting African culture through dance. Since then, they have taught together with authenticity and pedagogy, while developing events that bring the community together and make it vibrate: notably the CANDONGUEIRO FESTIVAL, a three-day event dedicated to the atmosphere of Angolan neighbourhoods, and the MORABEZA BOOTCAMP, an immersive course combining intensive learning, conviviality and family spirit.
