Mo Laudi
Mo Laudi (Ntshepe Tsekere Bopape) is an innovative South African curator, artist, composer, and DJ whose unique boundary-blurring investigations find expression through sound, painting, collage, sculpture, installations, video, and performance. Since the early 2000s, he has played a key role in introducing Kwaito, Afrohouse, Amapiano, Gqom, and Shangaan-Electro to the global stage and has performed in over 50 countries. Mo Laudi’s Afro-Electronic music has earned him international acclaim, and he is the first South African Black curator to curate a group exhibition in Paris. Recently, he curated the groundbreaking exhibition ‘Globalisto. A Philosophy in Flux’ at the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain, Saint-Etienne. Mo Laudi’s work is a socio-political critique of society, and his performances and sound installations have taken place at prestigious venues worldwide.
