LIPKA
Founded in Geneva in 2010 by Félix Landis and Etienne Maître, LIPKA is above all the story of a meeting between two childhood friends with very different musical backgrounds. One moves between punk and rock, while the other is more drawn to dancehall, reggae, and electronic music. LIPKA is this fusion of genres that gives the band its unmistakable and truly unique identity. Driven by a vocalist with an outstanding stage presence and a high-energy rhythm section, LIPKA takes listeners on a journey where each track leaves a mark and tells everyday stories.
On stage is where the duo truly shines and reveals the full extent of their talent. With Félix’s precise and deep voice, Etienne’s vocal and sonic interventions, and the contribution of Romain Tinguely on saxophone, LIPKA delivers an energetic live performance.
Discovered at the 2013 Demotape Clinic of M4music with their self-titled debut album LIPKA (Evidence Music, 2013) and nominated for the prestigious Swiss Live Talents 2015 in Bern in the category “Best Electro Act,” LIPKA later released their second album, GRANDE GIOCATORE (Evidence Music, 2016), with three singles already in rotation on Swiss radio. Their third album, BADMIND, was released in 2021. Since their latest album, LIPKA have released three singles: KILL ME SLOWLY, REGRETS, and FAUSTINE, in 2025.
