The Swiss sound
Since the end of the 19th century and the construction by an Appenzeller of the first phonograph invented by Edison, the Swiss audio industry has enjoyed undeniable success. This industry is one of the world leaders in the sector and its productions have marked and continue to mark our relationship to music.
Joseph Tarradellas is honorary professor of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. Record collector, passionate about music and high-fidelity, he built his first hi-fi system himself at the age of sixteen. For several years, he animated with his wife the “Musical Moments” of the Grange de Renens.
