Jenny Cara’s sets oscillate between light and joyful sounds, driven by the dynamic influences of British sound culture. Yet, this true human dynamo refuses to be pigeonholed.

Based in Zurich, the Swiss DJ began her journey in electronic music early on, immersing herself in the club scene of Lucerne, where her musical education began. Even though her school grades may have suffered, her efforts led her to become a programmer and eventually the manager of Club Zukunft in Zurich (RIP).

Beyond the dancefloor, Jenny is deeply committed to fostering community and creating inclusive, accessible spaces within club culture. Her selection moves between light and joyful tones, carried by the dynamic influences of British sound culture. Yet, this human dynamo still refuses to be boxed in. Her intersectional approach places community, history, joy, and accessibility at the center of everything, without ever forgetting the importance of a good house banger.

Attentive listeners have likely caught her appearances at notable venues such as Panorama Bar, De School, Robert Johnson, C12, or Club Zukunft. Outside of her live performances, she hosts the show “Situationship,” her residency on NTS Radio. With her distinctive style that blends genres, she aspires to create an electrifying space for her listeners.
