Giorgio Lopez
Born in Naples in 1985, Giorgio Lopez infuses his music with his hometown’s vibrant heritage, blending unique tradition with modern innovation. Originally trained as a jazz-funk keyboardist, he honed his production and DJ skills during a pivotal six-year stint in Geneva, quickly catching the attention of world-class icons like Prins Thomas. In 2025, he released the critically acclaimed concept album “Sud des Îles” (Cosmic Romance), co-produced with Ed Longo.
Merging a lifelong love for sailing, late-’80s aesthetics, and French boogie, the record features stellar contributions from Stella Zekri and session players from Nu Genea and Parbleu. Championed by global radios, crowned by a spot on the legendary Cafe del Mar compilation (Vol. XXXI), and carrying a notable collaboration with Tigerbalm on Ubiquity Records, he stands out as a key visionary of the contemporary electronic groove.
