The night of the big firsts! Superstar performers in France, the Dutronc father and son duo are finally together on stage for an unprecedented tour. This is also a great first for the Festival, which had never before welcomed the legendary Jacques Dutronc. In Montreux, his son Thomas is best known for his manouche virtuosity, appearing with Biréli Lagrène in 2002 and playing at the Montreux Jazz Club in 2014. That evening, he returned to the stage late in the night for a frenzied jam session with his friend Matthieu Chedid. Complicity and sharing will be the buzzwords of this exceptional event, during which the great classics of Jacques Dutronc – “Et moi, et moi et moi”, “J’aime les filles”, “Il est cinq heures, Paris s’éveille” – will finally resound at the Festival. Better late than never.
