Conservatoire Vevey-Montreux-Riviera
Led by Conservatory faculty and professional performing artists, the Métissage workshop takes place over a one-week residency in the idyllic setting of the Sylvia Waddilove Foundation Music Center.
On the program: exploration of timbres, ear training, arrangements, and the stage production of a set of songs exploring the dialogue and fusion between the aesthetics of contemporary and classical music. Conservatory students, aged 10 to 20, are divided into six temporary groups created specifically for the workshop.
