Carolina Schutzer, aka DJ Cashu, is a leading figure in São Paulo’s queer underground electronic music scene. Alongside Carneosso, she co-founded Mamba Negra, a collective advocating for diversity and gender freedom. Started in 2013, Mamba Negra has evolved into a label, agency, and radio station. Cashu’s influence extends globally, performing at festivals like Dekmantel in São Paulo and internationally. She initiated Rádio Vírus, supporting local and foreign artists. Cashu collaborates with artists like Benjamim Sallum and Amanda Mussi, and her productions began during Red Bull Music Pulse’s residency in São Paulo.
