The new wave, aerobics style… Gymnastics that stimulates cardiovascular activity and oxygenates the body through rapid movements to fast-paced music.  The accompanying sounds are Latin-American. Zumba is cardio mixed with Latin dance. The choreography is rhythmic and intense, in the style of aerobics, but is much more like dancing than muscular exercise. It’s an activity that’s particularly well-suited to weight loss.
