Awuni has always had a love affair with music, and her childhood was bathed in a variety of sounds thanks to parents who were music fans and a brother who was also a DJ. From an early age, she followed in the footsteps of her older brothers by listening to French rap, a style of music that quickly struck a chord with her thanks to its poignant lyrics. She soon found refuge in it. Later, Awuni developed her own universe and moved more towards a style she was already familiar with, thanks to her mother of Ghanaian origin: afrobeats. Digging deeper, she strayed into dancehall and discovered Vybz Kartel, who immediately fascinated her and plunged her into this new universe. In 2019, she decided to move to London, where she learned to appreciate dancehall even more and where she later discovered many sounds that quickly attracted her. It was in London that she took the plunge into DJing, where she met people with a passion for music who opened her eyes to her ability to evolve in a field she was passionate about. Awuni has been DJing since 2019, and has over 50 events to her name in a variety of venues.
