Melody Gardot

We’ve admired her for so long, on stage and on her breathtaking records, that we’ve forgotten the tragedy the American once endured. Heavily injured in an accident at nineteen years old, Melody Gardot has since established herself as one of the most essential jazz souls of this century. Her fifth album, Sunset in the Blue, was re-released last year in a deluxe version, enhanced by duets with Sting and Ibrahim Maalouf. The queen of crooning is coming to show her class, sensitivity and bewitching presence for the fifth time at the Festival.
