Wet Leg

From their little Isle of Wight, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers have made waves on planet rock. This was the case right from the release of their first single ‘Chaise Longue’, a song with deliciously spicy lyrics, heady bass lines and devastating charm. With their punk energy, wacky videos and pop anthem-like choruses, Wet Leg have since swept up everything in their path. Earlier this year, the duo won two Grammy Awards on both sides of the Atlantic, including Best Alternative Album and two Brit Awards, including Best British Band. And to think that it all started as a joke: the two friends had the idea of forming their band after going to an IDLES concert. Their current aim? Free entry into the summer festivals… they’re off to a great start.
