Selah Sue and The Gallands
Selah Sue is all about groove and a soul voice that leaves no one unmoved. Over the course of her career, the Belgian artist has collaborated with the likes of Childish Gambino, Marcus Miller and CeeLo Green. For her fifth concert in Montreux, she unveils a brand-new project born from a collaboration with The Gallands, the father-and-son duo formed by jazz drummer Stéphane Galland and his son Elvin, a keyboardist and producer. From this spark of a meeting—initiated at the Jazz Middelheim in Antwerp—came Movin’, an album balancing organic groove, improvisational freedom and soulful pop warmth.
