Sebastiao Loopes is a Swiss DJ, producer and sound designer with an eclectic style that blends hip-hop, electro, soulful and ambient. A true sonic alchemist, he develops a unique signature through his chiselled textures and rhythms. Active both on stage and in the studio, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Kaytranada, DJ mOma, Makala and Varnish La Piscine. In 2022, he released his first vinyl EP, Dysfunctional LOOP, reflecting a new artistic direction. Resident DJ on Couleur 3 (RTS) for several years, he shares his cutting-edge musical selections. He has also made a name for himself as musical director for fashion shows, and is now exploring cinema, theatre and video games. A charismatic performer, he has accompanied Makala on over 50 dates, including L’Olympia. Always looking to experiment, he is currently preparing a new album and a series of beat-tapes scheduled for release in 2025.
