Singing Hands – Sahel
Sahel is a French-Swiss singer-songwriter whose name echoes his desert roots. Born in Paris to a family of musicians, he grew up surrounded by jazz, later settling in Geneva and then Lausanne, where he launched his solo project. With a high, slightly raspy voice, he blends pop with influences from rap, rock, and jazz, creating a sound that is both poetic and powerful. Sahel brings his songs to life on stage with a vibrant, emotionally charged energy, mixing singing and rapping. Accompanied by a live band, his performances are dynamic, intimate, and genre-bending.
As part of Singing Hands Day, organised in association with Procap, Sahel’s concert will be interpreted into sign language.
The interpretation will be provided by the Ecoute Voir team.
The Sound Off association will once again be present at the Bar des Cadets from 5pm to 9pm, offering fun and educational activities on the subject of hearing impairment.
La Sinfonietta de Lausanne will also be on hand with vibrating waistcoats so that you can feel the vibrations during the concert.
