With her caressing, vibrant voice, Sagalina is establishing herself as a rising figure on the Swiss R&B scene. In 2019, she debuted with ‘Harimaadee’ alongside ROBLE, a tribute to Somali culture. In 2021, she unveiled ‘Kiss Kiss’ with Sekzy, with an Afrobeat sound, then released her first EP Drip of Honey in 2022, a sweet and bewitching project. In 2023, she was selected for the Demotape Clinic with ‘Cannot Stay’ and joined the FCMA’s STEP UP! programme. She also performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2024, she returned with two singles and a new EP, Invite Me, again produced by Sekzy. This more mature project blends intimate lyrics and upbeat rhythms, with tracks like ‘Fiesta’, ‘Taste You’ and ‘Perfect Love’.
