Pornopolis

Pornopolis was born from the organization of raves by the Geneva-based collective Metal Dance. After numerous appearances on Couleur 3, curating the Gonzo Sport Club parties, and regularly appearing on Canal 54, they remain driven by their love of the 80s and 90s. Over the years, their music has taken them to perform in Switzerland and across Europe, from Berlin (Automaticamore) to Barcelona (Glove Party), via Paris (Confetti), as well as Dublin and Lisbon. Recently, the duo released their first EP on the Wrong Era label, a sub-label of the Italian label Slow Motion, known for its Italo, disco, and EBM releases. This release places Pornopolis within a European scene that brings together artists connected to the club and Italo heritage of the 80s and 90s. The duo invites listeners to immerse themselves in a world where the music speaks directly to the Dionysian spirit of dancers and shatters the established order. Their sound lies somewhere between disco, Italo and new beat.
