Pascal is a unique, creative and luminous DJ from Geneva, with an identity shaped between Lake Geneva and Vesuvius. A collector, producer, singer and record enthusiast, his sets range from fake-dub-reggae to rare Italo, mutant disco and Germanic outsider-pop, and are always full of emotion and groove. Under the pseudonym Pàscal, he has released two solar disco-dub EPs on Periodica Records, inspired by Naples, a city with which he has deep ties. Active for over 15 years, he has played in clubs in Tokyo, Seoul, Berlin, Paris and Milan, and is resident at Canal 54 and La Jonquille in Geneva. He has forged strong links with the Italian scene (Periodica, Futuribile, Pino D’Angiò). His latest project, Elka Mare, in collaboration with Yavor Lilov and Alain Sandri (L’Éclair), plunges between boogie, reggae, ambient and sensual pop, with bursts of Neapolitan dialect.
