Objekt, the alias of Berlin-based TJ Hertz, is a boundary-pushing producer and DJ known for his experimental techno and technical mastery. Born in Tokyo and raised in Belgium and the UK, he gained acclaim with Objekt #1 and #2 in 2011 and went on to release with Hessle Audio and PAN, including his celebrated albums Flatland and Cocoon Crush. His DJ sets are wild yet focused, genre-defying and emotionally charged, earning him DJ of the Year from Mixmag in 2018. From Berghain to Primavera, he’s become a must-see performer. In 2024, he launched his new label Kapsela to support his own vision and like-minded artists.
