An avid fan of manga, TV series and anime, Théo Marclay decided to write about his experiences in the form of an audio series in which he personifies the dark side that inspires his songs, in a supernatural entity that takes possession of him: NUIT INCOLORE.
In his songs, which are sometimes French chanson, sometimes pop or rap, we find themes such as loneliness, abandonment and the love he always expressed on his piano keyboard during his 10 years at the conservatory.
Inspired by singers such as Charles Aznavour, Tsew The Kid and Joji, but also by Tim Burton films and Japanese anime, Nuit Incolore’s universe is a voyage, a hypnotic invitation to spend “colorless nights” by his side.
