MONA is an iranian DJ raised in Switzerland. She draws her inspiration and music taste from her Iranian roots andinfluence by her love for UK soundsystem culture. After a decade of pounding the dancefloors and evolving in the local cultural scene, she decided to collect music before officially starting djing.
A taste for deconstructed rhythms and deep infrabass have created a style that can be described as singular. She experiments with different styles. The absence of predefined genres and rhythmic limits are her trade marks. Surfing on eclectic waves, from ambient, to breakbeat and jungle, with a marked “bassy” tendency, but always filled with an emotional touch.
