Lewis Capaldi
It was a moment that touched hearts across the globe. In 2023, Lewis Capaldi suffered an emotional breakdown mid-set at Glastonbury. Gripped by the effects of Tourette’s syndrome, the Glaswegian was spurred on by the crowd as they sang “Someone You Loved”, the poignant single from Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, the UK’s fastest-selling album that year. Two years later, he had a triumphant return to the same stage. In the meantime, he crafted a series of lyrical, melancholic ballads, marking his comeback with Survive, a majestic, hope-filled album, and a bold initiative that provided 734,000 hours of free therapy to his fans. From a guest at the Festival in 2019, Lewis Capaldi returns to Montreux as a fully-fledged songwriting star.
