A five-time Grammy Award nominee, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has established himself as one of the greatest blues-rock guitarists of his generation. The Louisiana native has collaborated with legends such as B.B. King, Joe Walsh and Ringo Starr. A precocious talent, he graced the stage of the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1998, at the tender age of only 21 years old. This summer, he returns with a special guest: Bobby Rush, a blues legend who has worked with Muddy Waters, James Brown, and Howlin’ Wolf. Very active in the studio and on stage, Rush has won three Grammy Awards over the past decade. United by their Louisiana roots, Kenny and Bobby will present their duo album, Young Fashioned Ways, released last March. Despite their forty-four-year age gap, the two musicians share a common language: the blues.
