Part of the Batardes de Garde collective, Kali Kalité is a multi-faceted DJ and artist who pays tribute to her roots and cultural background through her mixes. Coming from a Congolese and Martinique family, she specializes in shatta and afro beat at the age of 22.
Kali concentrates her energy and her art in the service of parties that advocate the values that are dear to her. From the Creole (LGBTQI+ party for racialized people), through the Wet For Me (Barbiturix) and the Radical Pride, to the Tchoin (party that offers a safe space for women), her choices are clear, precise and faithful to her identity. Kali Kalité knows how to make people dance on her favorite hits of Shatta, Dancehall, Bouyon, that she combines with her R&B, Hip-Hop influences and that accompanied by club music.
