Gilipojazz is a high-energy trio from Madrid blending jazz-punk with funk, prog rock, metal, and classical music, all delivered with humor and virtuosic flair. Their debut album ¿Dónde está el jazz?, released in April 2022, set the tone with 14 genre-defying tracks and led to over 40 performances across Spain and abroad, including at Sziget Festival in Budapest. Influenced by Frank Zappa, System of a Down, Magma, and Cardiacs, their live shows and videos echo the absurdity of Les Luthiers or Tricicle. Winners of several band competitions, they are now preparing their second album, due in spring 2024.
