At the age of 12, Emilia received her first guitar and it was a good omen for what was to come. She took singing and dancing lessons in her home province in Argentina, dreaming of a career guided by her passions. Firmly rooted in her generation, she posted covers of urban Latino pop hits on Instagram, got noticed and joined the famous Uruguayan cumbia-pop band Rombai. That was just the beginning, and she quickly gained momentum. Now recognised by a broad international audience, she left the group and launched her solo career. Her songs ‘Four Veinte’ and ‘Intoxication’ went viral and took her to the top of the charts.
