Born on the French Riviera, it was in his mother’s Piano Bar in Nice that the future DJ ESTÈPHE discovered the sounds of Jazzfunk, Boogie & Disco. In 89, his first Mk2s arrived! He moved to Geneva in 95. What followed was a crazy series of musical adventures all over Europe. From club DJs to underground parties, his success is based on a skilful eclecticism at the service of the ideal melodic blend, like the bouquet of subtle aromas in a fine wine. A useful collector and creator of musical ambiences, after 2010 ESTÈPHE began producing Disco Funk originals and remixes, accompanied by fellow bassist VULZOR, with whom he formed the duo REVIVRA. In 2022, the line-up expanded to include Steve Thornton (ex-Miles Davis percussionist) & Stalker, to meet the needs of the Borneo Jazz Festival, where they will be guests.
