London neo-soul singer Debbie has gospel in her voice. She may have only released a handful of singles to date, but her CV is already pretty impressive. The 23-year-old has sung with Stormzy and co-written some of the tracks on his latest album. She has also supported John Legend, covered a Beyoncé song for a BBC Radio 1Xtra and collaborated with rapper Berwyn, who was MJF Spotlight artist of the month last September. One of Debbie’s songs, the delicate “Is This Real Love?”, has passed the million stream mark on Spotify. It will certainly not be the last for the woman who is preparing a debut album on the 0207 Def Jam label.
