‘Since Bilal Karaman was eleven years old, he put the guitar at the center of his life and he became one of the pioneering jazz guitarists in Turkey. Over the years, Bilal Karaman has done a lot of collaboration with international musicians and played together, such as Marcus Miller, Dianne Reeves, Zakir Hussain, Lars Danielson, Ricky Ford, Ivo Papazov, Aydın Esen, Mike Moreno, Pierre Blanchard.
2009 Istanbul Nardis jazz guitar competition first prize winner guitarist has formed different repertoire & formats for stage. Since his debut album ‘Bahane’, 2011. His wide range of performances are including solo guitar recitals, duo, trio, quartet combo bands and gypsy jazz band formats.
Since 2003 he played several shows over 25 countries such as Hungary, Macedonia, Ukraine, U.S, U.K, Germany, France, Netherlands, South Korea, South Africa, Kenya, and many more… Including highly esteemed festivals like Istanbul Jazz Festival, and London Jazz Festival.
