After over 15 years in Geneva’s music scene, three longtime friends — Julien Marty, Ludovic Lacroix, and Maxence Sibille — formed Automobile Club, a rock trio born from shared influences and a summer night in Carouge. In January 2024, they recorded four original tracks with sound engineer Valentin Liechti. Instead of an EP, they chose to release a series of singles on streaming platforms. The first, I Hate the Heat, dropped in August 2024 and was quickly added to Couleur 3’s rotation. Ghoulz and Boyz followed in October, then Automobile Club in December, paired with a stop-motion video by Nathalie Berger. The band’s debut live show at L’Écurie Geneva in November sold out. The final single from this session, Needles in the Hay, was released in March 2025. The trio is now ready to hit Swiss and international stages.
