Maestro Espada

Rilke said that man’s true homeland is childhood, and that is where brothers Alejandro and Víctor Hernández have returned with Maestro Espada, a musical project created not only to pay tribute to the folklore of their native Murcia, but also, and above all, to evoke a family soundtrack that even they cannot be sure ever really existed.

Maestro Espada are two brothers born in Murcia who, after going their separate ways, one to Barcelona and the other to Madrid, found in their shared fascination with Huertano folklore the perfect excuse to give birth to one of the most interesting projects of recent years.
