Laila
Laila, is one of the Iconic upcoming DJ’s of Geneva. Born in California from Iranian parents and raised in Switzerland, her groovy sets will take you on a journey from the DC10 Terrace to Burning Man, two places she likes to call her second home. Laila’s style draws on her mixed roots and an extensively diverse musical culture that she has been developing from a young age and that spans from Disco to Punk Rock, enabling her to always surprise you. In love with electronic music since she first saw Laurent Garnier live in 1994, her inspiration comes from mentors such as Luciano, Dandy Jack, Damian Lazarus and DJ Reas. After a year of “grooming” as a booker for Cadenza, she has been affirming her style in the past years as a DJ and has now moved into production with Dandy Jack, Ricardo Villalobos, Philippe Quenum and Ladislav Agabekov, San Proper, Dantiez Saunderson and Marshall Jefferson.
