Blue Mush
Blue mush is an open format DJ born and raised in Geneva, of Swiss and Ghanaian descent, now based in Paris. Coming from a family of musicians, she studied at the conservatory for nearly ten years. It was during a three-month residency at Bella Afrik in Accra that she deepened her knowledge of afrotech, gqom and African electronic music in general, which remain at the heart of her sets. She now moves between baile funk, dancehall, bouyon, batida, hip hop and R&B, always driven by one obsession: rhythm and melody. Her sets have taken her across several continents, through Europe, Africa and north America. Co-founder of the collective ADM, dedicated to promoting music from Africa, she is also a member of the Parisian collective Walk In Paris. Behind the decks, she seeks to create a space where the audience exists only in what the music makes them feel.
