Rikas, a group of childhood friends, have been moving forward hand in hand for 10 years now. For their upcoming European “Dog Days” tour, Rikas wants to celebrate the spirit of their beginnings by performing in selected venues that played an important role in their journey. The “Dog Days” refer to the hottest days of the year, and since the name Rikas comes from a band member’s family dog, it was reason enough to embrace this mission.

It all started with their first EP released in 2018, “Swabian Samba.” Over the following years, Rikas built a loyal audience thanks to their lively, laid-back harmonies, unifying choruses, and egalitarian style, where every member contributes equally to songwriting and shares the spotlight, whether in the studio or on stage.

After their warm and inviting 2019 debut album, Showtime, and two interim EPs (Short Stories in 2021 and Goodbye Sunshine in 2022), Rikas became a true live phenomenon in Germany, and their reputation began to cross borders. Their second album, “Soundtrack For A Movie That Has Not Been Written Yet,” led them to their first sold-out headline shows, from London to Lisbon, via Amsterdam and Paris. In 2026, Rikas is ready to bring their concerts to their growing fan base all over the world.
