Contrary to what their name suggests, X CLUB. is no longer a secret. The London-based duo, comprised of Ben Clarke and Jesse Morath, has spent the last few years refining a raw and expansive sound. What began as 90s-inspired techno has evolved into a bold blend of breakbeat, jungle, and trance: high-impact club music built to last. Their meteoric rise in 2024 and 2025 has translated into sold-out world tours, playing everything from 8,000-capacity warehouses to intimate clubs, as well as standout appearances at major festivals (Glastonbury, Coachella, Awakenings, Berghain, DGTL). From Sydney to London, and via the Rex Club in Paris, the duo has established themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting electronic exports. In the studio, X CLUB. cultivates unpredictability. Between homages to house and techno pioneers like Frankie Knuckles and their Stay With Me EP on the Steel City Dance Discs label, they display growing maturity and refuse to be boxed into a single genre. In 2026, Ben and Jesse continue to develop their label and brand, Hide The Junk, while hosting their monthly show on Rinse FM. Their philosophy remains the same: never stagnate, turn up the volume, and above all, do not soften the edges.
