At 22, this self-taught artist and producer single-handedly composes all her music. Her lush baroque-pop arrangements, diaristic lyrics, and synths offer an alluring interplay of vulnerability and power. Spotted at age 9 on “The Voice Kids” in 2017, the experience was significant and challenging, leading her to develop stage fright. At 17, in the midst of the pandemic, she learned production on Logic from her bedroom, deciding to work alone for total creative control. Her recent singles, “808 HYMN” and “MACHINE GHOST,” oscillate between art-pop and baroque-pop, incorporating strings, rhythms, and synths.
